A regularly scheduled meeting of the West Fargo School Board, West Fargo Public School District #6, was held on May 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the District Support Center Boardroom, with Vice President Jessica Jackson presiding. Members present included Directors Jim Jonas, Jon Erickson, Dan Schaeffer, and Trisha Page. President Patti Stedman and Director Jessica Jones were absent. Also present, representing the school district, were Superintendent Beth Slette, Business Manager Elizabeth Mackowick, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction Vincent Williams, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction Rachael Agre, Director of Technology Ed Mitchell, Director of School Safety and Security Heather Leas, and School Board Secretary Alicia Severson. Human Resources Director Brittnee Nikle was absent.

Mr. Jonas moved, seconded by Ms. Page, to adopt the agenda with the addition of two resignations. The motion carried unanimously.

The Board recognized Learner Advisory Board seniors.

There was no public participation.

There were no monitoring reports presented.

There were no committee reports.

Mr. Erickson moved, seconded by Ms. Page, to approve the staffing memo as presented. The motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Erickson moved, seconded by Mr. Schaeffer, to approve the consent agenda. The consent agenda included approval of the regular meeting minutes from April 27, 2026; Human Resources actions including one new contract and four resignations; contracts for professional services with Myna Therapy; authorization for administration to apply for federal funds under the consolidated application and approval of Dr. Rachael Agre as the district’s authorized representative; award of a contract to EAPC for independent commissioning services for the projects at Heritage Middle School, Horace High School, and South Elementary School; award of bids for food services beverages to PepsiCo and Coca-Cola Bottling Co.; and approval of the bills as presented. The motion carried unanimously.

During the superintendent’s report, Superintendent Slette provided updates and relevant information to the Board.

During the president’s prerogative, Vice President Jackson facilitated closing reflections and comments.

The regular business meeting adjourned at 6:24 PM.
